More Halite
Halite crystal with calcite found in Eisleben, Thuringen, Germany.
Halite crystals found in Death Valley, California. Images take August 2010 at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Halite is composed of Sodium Chloride (NaCl) or table salt.
