Brachiopods

Here are some brachiopods from my cousins collection.

This is a large one about 2 inches wide. It is coated with clear finish but that is the true rock color.



Sliced in half is how he found it and your see the fossilized remains.


This brachiopod was found at the April 2008 Speed Quarry field trip and has quartz in it.
