Quartz Fossils from Taylorsville Lake Road Cuts

My cousin and I went out during the afternoon and found some nice fossils at various road cuts. Some of the oddest fossils came from a place that had very few visible fossils and the rock layers were very strange. Dark 4-6 cm layers separated by 10-15 cm sandstone like layer. Dark rock fossils that looked like trilobite pieces and occasional quartz like fossils.

The rock in these pictures is very interesting with gastropods in dark rock and two large ones with quartz replacement and several bryzoans replaced by quartz. Also some snail tracks.
