Cicadas in Tree

Here are some pictures of cicadas on the front tree. I always thought they only went to specific trees but maybe they like Bradford Pears now.

Jeffersontown, KY hit with these bugs. We have Bradfords and other trees and they are loaded. I will never own another tree again and I don't ever want to experience this again. WHEN DO THEY GO AWAY?

They will go away pretty quickly. You should notice dead cicadas around the yard even now.

The insects lay their eggs and then die. The eggs hatch and then the larvae go to the tree roots where they will stay for 13-17 years.

This is nature, learn to share with the other creatures on our planet.
